Pyroelectric deflector of relativistic electron beam

چکیده

Deflection of a relativistic electron beam by means the pyroelectric deflector is demonstrated experimentally for first time. The operating principle based on generation strong transverse electric field in vacuum gap between pair crystals due to effect. experiments observation deflection 7 MeV 26 mrad with strength about 100 kV/cm arising at variation temperature are described. possibility application installed sequentially deflectors undulator production radiation without any external high voltage power supply discussed.
